Founding members

Principal Founder. Rubul Mout is a scientist at the Harvard Medical School, an author, and a social activist. As a scientist, he works in the field of gene editing, protein design, and stem cell engineering, with 40+ publications and many patents. His book Moro Eta Sapon Ase in Assamese is a best-seller, often included in the school curriculum in Assam. He runs the Sunday Science Activisim, an outreach program to interact with students worldwide.

Co-founder and Vice president. Prarthana Gogoi is a visionary professional with 20 years of experience in teaching and media. She has a master’s in English literature and a postgraduate diploma in mass communication and journalism. She is a teacher, a life-skill educator, and a career counselor. She is passionate about inculcating reading habits among rural students.

Co-founder and Secretary. Bikash Dutta is a STEM educator, Science and Math teacher at Kailashpur ME School in Assam, and an organizer of the National Children’s Science Congress in India (2023). He obtained his B.Sc in Mathematics and MA in Education. He is deeply interested in popularizing STEM education among students in rural India.
